In the organizer's words:

Hundreds of Jewish children and young people recorded their experiences during the Nazi dictatorship in diary entries, letters and essays and vividly describe their experiences of persecution, exclusion and terror. On the Day of Sources, pupils from Munich schools will read from documents written by Jewish children and young people on Stage 1 of the Münchner Volkstheater from 9.00 am to around 1.00 pm. By lending their voices to the historical documents, they will present the events from the perspective of children and young people. Some of the schools' contributions will draw a bridge to the present day. Individual schools will dedicate their contribution to the thematic focus of the evening event and deal with the discussion of Nazi history in families.

The "Day of Sources" will be moderated by Özlem Sarıkaya (BR).

Admission to the "Day of Sources" is free. The doors of the theater are open all morning, you can come at any time.
