In the organizer's words:

The motto of this year's Open Monument Day is "Valuable:
Priceless or irreplaceable?". Together with the Leipzig Chamber of Crafts
we invite you to experience the craftsmanship behind the preservation of our building culture
up close and personal. Together we will present the results of a
special funding project. Insights into the courses on offer, space for exchange,
inspiration and new perspectives for those interested.
Whether it's joining in the discussions in the workshops, exploring the restored
church or during relaxed networking. An exhibition about the
history of PHILIPPUS Leipzig can be viewed in the church hall,
which shows the work of our dedicated volunteers.

Program of the day

11 a.m. Architectural tour of the listed building renovation,
Christiane Domke
from 12 noon Open church
2 p.m. Guided tour of the church and organ
3 p.m. Organ tour for children - experience and try it out
3 - 5 p.m. Workshops on the craftsmanship of monument preservation
4 p.m. Organ music
5 p.m. Architectural tour on the restoration of listed buildings,
Christiane Domke
6.30 pm Wrap-up & networking - discussions, ideas, contacts
20.30 Metropolis with live organ music (Sebastian Heindl)

Drinks and snacks will be available from 2 to 7 pm
in the PHILIPPUS beer garden.
