The collective de_colonialanguage invites you to a space for coming together, reflection and action.

Since 2023, de_colonialanguage has been occupying public space as a site of cultural resistance - starting at Alexanderplatz, a place of imperial memory and urban transitions. There, the collective founded the Open Air Museum of Decoloniality - a growing social network of collective learning, publishing and community care.

What began as a response to displacement, exile and invisibility is now a practice of producing social space as a work of art. Through performances, readings, discussions and shared rituals, we create voice, solidarity and knowledge across imperial borders - in Central and North Asia, the Caucasus and Eastern Europe.

From September 20, 2025, de_colonialanguage will be performing at Kulturfabrik Moabit. Together with curator Irina Denkmann and voices from our network, the collective will present the results of the Voices Otherwise residency program - publications, poetry, performances and a collective archive of resistance and care.

This is no ordinary exhibition. It is a collective invitation to the table of history - a shift in language, space and power relations.
