Jazz choir concert

A sense of home is something you get in Cologne at Carnival at the latest. But the feeling of belonging, connectedness and community is something that not only occupies the students at our university. A singer in the jazz choir once said: "This choir is our village in the big city." And that's how it feels to sing in the University of Cologne's jazz choir: to find a community in which you are taken care of, supported and can let go together once a week, making music, laughing, crying and singing together. We humans are social beings and want to belong, we need the feeling of being at home, be it in friendships, in love relationships, in the family or in the choir. And especially in difficult times and in the dark winter, this feeling of security is particularly important for us. With our Take me home program, we would like to invite you to become part of our musical space for an evening. Feel welcome in our warm circle, let yourself be comforted, carried away, touched and delighted. An evening of community, warmth and security awaits you.
