Bestselling author Takis Würger and composer and pianist Florian Christl are combining their talents for the first time and going on tour in November 2025. With "FÜR POLINA - IN CONCERT", the audience can look forward to a concert experience that brings the love story of the year live on stage with a mix of reading and music. The novel "For Polina" was published in February 2025, went straight to number 1 on the SPIEGEL bestseller list and has been one of the best-selling books week after week ever since. In Takis Würger's latest work, music and the piano also play a special role for the main character Hannes Prager. As a boy, he falls in love with the girl Polina. To show her his love, the miraculously talented man composes a melody that encompasses all of Polina's longings and desires. But his life takes an unforeseen turn. Hannes stops playing the piano and he and Polina go their separate ways. After years of feeling nothing but emptiness, Hannes realizes that he must find Polina again. And the only thing he can use to reach her is her melody.

In "For Polina - In Concert", Takis Würger and Florian Christl bring the love story of the year live to the stage. The contributions of the two protagonists complement each other harmoniously: Takis Würger alternately reads selected passages from his novel and Florian Christl enhances the emotional depth of the words with his sensitive piano compositions. "Florian's music captures something that lies between the lines," says Takis Würger.

About the artists:

Takis Würger studied Human, Social and Political Sciences at Cambridge and reported as a journalist for "Der Spiegel" from Afghanistan, Libya and Iraq. He has been a freelance author since 2020. His novels "The Club" and "Stella" were bestsellers and have been translated into many languages.

Florian Christl is one of the most successful contemporary composers in Germany. The pianist has been under contract exclusively with Sony Classical since 2018. His four albums released to date have reached the "Top 20" of the official German classical music charts immediately after their release and inspire a steadily growing international audience. His concerts are very well received worldwide - from the USA to Europe and Asia.
