Tal Arditi 'Close Your Eyes' EP Release Show \\ Support: Agnes Verano (Harp & Voice)

In the organizer's words:

Fresh from sold-out shows in his hometown of Berlin and sharing stages with acts like Black Sea Dahu and Steph Strings, all signs point to a big year ahead for singer/songwriter Tal Arditi. A musical prodigy who completed his jazz studies by the age of 18, Tal has steadily made a name for himself across Europe, captivating festival audiences and intimate club crowds alike.

His music blends folk, acoustic, indie, world, and electronic influences—drawing inspiration from artists like James Blake, Patrick Watson, Beck, and Nick Drake, and earning comparisons to José González and Woodkid. His voice carries deep emotion, with lyrics that explore personal struggles, dreams, and moments of hope.

In his live performances, Tal uses looping techniques to layer his voice and guitar with electronic elements, creating immersive soundscapes that resonate deeply with audiences—each song unfolding like a cinematic journey.

Now, on May 3rd at Privatclub, Tal will present a completely new live show—a project he’s been quietly working on behind the scenes for the past seven months. Teaming up with one of Berlin’s top lighting designers, Tal has created a unique visual experience to match the emotional depth of his music. This show marks the premiere of this new chapter—his first step into a more immersive, bold direction.

Agnes Verano is a singer-songwriter from Berlin, who is currently based in Vienna. Her songs are mellow and lyrical, her authenticity seems sensitive and invulnerable at the same time. She tells stories about past encounters and bittersweet goodbyes, whereat melancholia and nostalgia melt. The created atmosphere gives a feeling of soft security which invites to daydream. Her sound is pure and timeless – her bright voice, which she accompanies herself with piano or harp, shows her audience what it is really about: The fragile beauty of transience
