Saskia Groneberg in conversation with Thomas Seelig, Head of the Photography Department at Museum Folkwang, Essen

Saskia Groneberg's photographic expeditions take us to domestic offices and parks all over the world. The central theme is always the relationship between man and nature. In particular, Groneberg focuses on artificially formed nature, which is ultimately also based on the longing for nature itself - or the fear of that which is beyond our control. In conversation with Thomas Seelig, the multi-award-winning artist talks about her search for subjects, which she initially circles around for a long time, and about the relationship between books and exhibitions as presentation media. The question of whether and to what extent artificially designed nature is a reflection of man will also be discussed.

The event is part of the program accompanying the exhibition "Frozen Mirrors".
