19:00 I Concert, Talk I 🌿 GREEN ROOM
Guests: Philipp Henzel (aka Trafy), Sandor Meierjohann (Night Orchestra), Vicky Hytrek (journalist) & Lennart Brauwers (journalist)
Music: Night Orchestra, Annelu & Trafy
Talk:
In the talk with Kaput authors Lennart Brauwers and Vicky Hytrek, the two musicians Sandor Meierjohann (Cologne; frontman of the indie band Night Orchestra) and Trafy (Berlin; rapper/producer) talk about the topic "Humor in pop songs". All four people will each bring a song that they have recently found particularly funny and then talk about it - the differences between humor in different genres will become clear, the connection to social issues will emerge and the discussants' own musical practice will also play a role. The central questions: How can humor express itself in different ways in pop? How important/unimportant is humor in music to us? What do we find funny and what is rather unfunny?
Performances:
After the Kaput talk on the topic of humor in pop songs, the atmospheric rapper Trafy will provide a musical prelude. Afterwards, Annelu will present her folky heartland rock before the indie band Night Orchestra performs at the end.
