Ludwig van Beethoven: Symphony No. 9 in D minor op. 125

May 7, 1824 at the Kärntnertortheater in Vienna: the completely deaf Beethoven lifts the baton for the premiere of his ninth symphony. 200 years later, young musicians from all over the world celebrate the anniversary work with a European tour that concludes in Bonn. Tan Dun will also conduct his commissioned work "Nine. Ode to Compassion", in which he rediscovers Beethoven's music in the sounds of our modern city life. The concert is also the Campus Project 2024.
