The heart of Argentine tango beats in the warmth of the music, in the breath of the bandoneon, in the distress and the profound poetry of the sung stories.
And the dance? Rumor has it that Argentine tango began with an embrace, then came the first steps and the legs began to play with each other.

Delicate kicks, dangerous kicks, a light sweep of the foot, an abrupt stop... Perhaps you could say that the Argentine tango is an innocuous dance of the legs - but perhaps you don't really need to know. The focus is on walking together, which becomes more and more elaborate with various elements.

Course leader:
Renate and Christian have been dancing Tango Argentino together for over thirty years and have been teaching at the Zachersmühle, Adelberg, for twenty-seven years. From 2002-2004 they also ran "Tango im Kulturwerk Stuttgart" and since 2005 "Tango im Kulturhaus Schwanen". In addition to their teaching activities, they also organize tango festivals. Under the direction of Boris Hauck, they danced in the dance theater programs "Ballade für einen Verrückten" and "Der Mann von Esquina Rosada". Renate co-founded "SwingKultur Stuttgart" in 2005 and teaches Lindy Hop, Charleston etc. there.
