La Máquina Invisible is a contemporary tango quintet that is one of the most important representatives of the new Argentinian tango scene.

Founded in Rosario in 2013 and made up of five young musicians from a new generation of tango musicians, the group has distinguished itself in its nine years of existence with its avant-garde new compositions and personal versions of the great classics. They have received numerous recognitions and awards, including the first World Championship of the Tango Orchestra in 2017, awarded by a jury of great references of contemporary tango. That same year, the group was awarded the prize for phonographic co-productions by the Municipal Editorial Board of Rosario, which allowed the release of the group's first discographic material entitled 'La Máquina Invisible'.

The debut album is a journey through all the sounds that the group goes through, from versions of classical genres to personal and contemporary compositions. The album was presented in October 2017 in Rosario at the Príncipe de Asturias Theater in front of a full house and with an unbeatable echo in the local media and was awarded Best Tango Album 2017 at the Rosario Edita Awards.

In 2018, the group was selected by a prestigious international jury to participate in Circulart, one of the most important cultural markets in Latin America, chosen from more than 300 groups in the country. The group performed at the Pablo Tobón Uribe Theater (Medellín, Colombia) and shared the stage with various emerging groups from around the world. In the same year, they performed in Argentina together with the Municipal Chamber Orchestra of Rosario, one of the most important string orchestras in the country.

In 2020 and during isolation, the group organized their first streaming concert from their city of Rosario. It was seen by more than 1000 viewers in different parts of the world, marking a high point in the group's history. It is available on YouTube.

In 2021, the group is releasing a new co-production with Adrián Abonizio, the songwriter of La Trova Rosarina, entitled "Ciudad Malandrina", a project that portrays the complex city of Rosario. The album, which contains 11 new original songs, was rated by the newspaper Página/12 as one of the 10 best tango albums of the year and the most important tango album outside Buenos Aires.

Currently, La Máquina Invisible is working on her new repertoire of instrumental compositions as she resumes her new presentations after the COVID-19 pandemic.
