Culture in the Kopfbau meets the world cultural heritage "Tango Argentino" - a special mix that you can experience on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in the Kopfbau (Riem).

It will be an evening of Tango Argentino for fans - with a workshop, dancing and music to listen to - and all for just five euros.

From 18:00 to 19:00, Patrizia and Michael Kronthaler (tango-x.de), a professional tango couple, will be giving a beginners' workshop. If you have always wanted to know what it feels like to dance Tango Argentino, this is the perfect opportunity. Everyone is welcome. It doesn't matter what age you are or whether you come with or without a partner. The course is also ideal for refreshing existing knowledge.

Afterwards, the women's tango band Las Clandestinas ("the mysterious ones") will lead you through the evening and create an atmosphere for dancing, dreaming and enjoying with their live music.

Las Clandestinas play music ranging from the old masters of tango to the modern era, in tandas. Their instrumentation: piano, bandoneon, two violins, violoncello.

During the breaks, DJ Michael plays wonderful Argentinian tangos.

The evening of Tango Argentino will come to an end at around 10 pm.

The KopfbaR will be open during the tango evening.

There will be beer, including non-alcoholic varieties, as well as wine, cocktails and soft drinks.

Snacks will also be available to satisfy small appetites.
