TANKUS THE HENGE

The freewheeling Tankus The Henge, the chameleon-like gonzo rock'n'rollers from London who are always on tour and never stop to consider the consequences. Originally formed around the songwriting of Jaz Delorean, they are now an eclectic band of internationally traveling musicians with a myriad of influences to boot.

Taking their cue from the relentlessly touring bands of the late 1960s, Tankus The Henge question what a band is. It's live, it's original, it answers to no one. For this one wild night of lights, sound and overwhelming emotion, only to rush off into the night with tire tracks in the dust. More than 1,000 gigs have been played and there's no sign of them slowing down.

They've set fire to the stages of Glastonbury Festival (UK), Trans Musicales (FR), Fusion (DE), Montreux Jazz Festival (CH), WOMAD (E) and Boomtown Fair (UK)... and countless others around the world. Following the release of Luna Park! in 2020 (produced by Gethin Pearson), the band begins work on album #4 and will continue their work in collaboration with visual artists to expand their unique world of storytelling.
