"MEGASTRUCTURE" is a remarkable dance piece that curiously traces the path of two bodies in constant connection. This duet is like a puzzle whose pieces are constantly being dismantled, searched for, tested and reinvented. An intensely captivating piece, completely pure, without music, masterfully danced.
This work aims to deconstruct the traditional format of theater and dance pieces and plays with the audience's expectation by asking the question, what is necessary to create a performance?

Sarah Baltzinger and Isaiah Wilson, the creators of the duet, have developed a dance movement language that straddles the boundaries of puppetry and physical theater. In their work, the two artists are constantly on the lookout for choreographic tools that bring out the unique characteristics of each individual.

Self-made artist Sarah Baltzinger studied performing arts, art history and cultural industries at university in France. She began her career as a professional dancer in 2013 and has worked with various choreographers and artists in Europe throughout her career.
In 2016, she started her own choreographic work and has since created several creations. In 2022, Sarah Baltzinger and Isaiah Wilson began staging several projects together, including the internationally acclaimed duet "MEGASTRUCTURE". In June 2023, they won a number of prizes at the famous RIDCC (Rotterdam International Duet Choreographic Competition). The two artists won the XL Production Award, which they will use to create a production for Scapino Ballet Rotterdam.

Isaiah Wilson received his training at the Conservatoire du Nord in Luxembourg and completed a fine arts degree called "Générale Artistique" at the Lycée des Arts et Métiers. In 2016, Isaiah studied dance at Codarts in Rotterdam. At the end of this program, he completed an internship with the renowned dance company ICK Amsterdam under the direction of Emio Greco and Pieter C. Sholtes. In 2020, he returned to Luxembourg and worked with
worked for two years with Jill Crovisier and as artistic director of Foqus, a multimedia group based in Luxembourg. In 2022, Isaiah was invited to work with the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company as a guest artist.

Two women eat sunflower seeds in a park, in front of a house entrance or in a courtyard. They share an everyday space, a conversation, the intimacy of silence. Suddenly, song and dance break through this ordinary world and transform it into a magical spectacle.
In "Taranto Aleatorio" ("Accidental Taranto"), the choreographer and dancer María del Mar Suárez / La Chachi and the singer Lola Dolores present their personal view of the rawness of taranto, a form of flamenco. This form of dance originated in the Andalusian mining region of Almería. It is accompanied by a seemingly simple, dry song without a guitar, which arose from the need to sing independently.
Both artists take a random approach to the piece and create a humorous atmosphere through their unabashed gestures. Their choreography glides from light to swirling movements, in which the heels of their shoes resound on the floor in a laughing, lamenting rhythm and a never-ending song envelops the room.

Maria del Mar Suárez, alias La Chachi, has earned her place in the tradition of breaking up and re-evaluating flamenco, following in the footsteps of other artists such as El Niño de Elche, Israel Galván and Rocío Molina. She is an actress and dancer and studied both subjects in her home town of Málaga. María del Mar Suárez/La Chachi has been reinterpreting the traditional flamenco language since 2008 in order to adapt it to her unique style. Her first piece, La gramática de los mamíferos (The Grammar of the Mammals), was created in 2017 and received several nominations and awards. Her second work, La Espera, was supported by Teatros del Canal (Madrid) and performed at the Teatro Central in Seville. Los inescalables Alpes, buscando a Currito (The unclimbable Alps, in search of Currito) was presented at the Festival de Otoño in Madrid and received the Godot Dance Award in 2022.
