In the organizer's words:

"T'as la touche Manouche" play French chansons as well as pieces in the gypsy jazz style. With titles such as "Les copains d'abord" and "Triplettes de Belleville", the seven-piece band creates a great atmosphere on the dance floor. Add to this a glass of wine and French snacks at small prices - and the Franco-German friendship can be celebrated in style.

The Dance into May is a well-established event in Germany. In France, it is the "Bal populaire", which is closely linked to the national holiday on July 14. Almost all municipalities and towns organize it, often in the open air. It is "populaire", which means: for everyone - and unites people across age groups, cultures and social classes.
