Welcome to the gallery of useless things. Here you are invited to touch all the objects, smell them, listen to them. There is, for example, this flea market box with inconspicuous photos - garbage for some, memories of life for others. RECYCLING OF LIFE is a multidisciplinary work by director Antje Schupp, filmmaker Ayman Nahle and musician Yanik Soland. Together they have created a space that combines performance, exhibition, live music and café. This is where stories are recovered and questions are asked about the throwaway society. RECYCLING OF LIFE follows the cellular cycles of life, archives memories and builds bridges between the past, present and future. The audience can actively participate - and, for example, help decide the fate of live vinyl finds in a mash-up session. For a moment, the fast-paced world is brought to a halt. To take a second look at what is otherwise forgotten.
