Duo with superpower

Ancient musical traditions are dusty and out of date? The Catalan vocal duo Tarta Relena proves the opposite: starting from their Spanish homeland, the two young women scour the entire Mediterranean region from the south of France to Italy and North Africa for songs, which they infuse with synth sounds and beats to their different yet intertwined voices with incredible creativity. This mix has created a worldwide buzz, whether at major festivals or the legendary "NPR Tiny Desk Concert".
