Tastenwunder aus Japan: Hiromi´s Sonicwonder

As a teenager, she met Oscar Peterson and Chick Corea, two of the greatest piano legends in jazz. The Japanese pianist Hiromi is second to none and has long been a superstar, and not just in her home country. She finds inspiration for her musical ideas in classical music, fusion jazz and progressive rock. Over the course of her twenty-year career, the virtuoso artist and Grammy winner has surprised audiences time and again, with no trace of routine. Her latest project really grooves, and together with the fusion jazz band Sonicwonder, which she founded especially for this project, she takes us into fascinating dream worlds of sound with the program "SonicWonderland". The joy of playing and melodic ingenuity are unbeatable. Hiromi's keyboard sounds meet synthesizers and rousing rhythms, which, in combination with her brilliant fellow musicians, will also unfold their maelstrom effect in the unique atmosphere of the Dresden Stromwerk.
