From Jazzthetik: "...When a guitar sound spreads so gently and organically from the floor into the surroundings as if it had not been played by a human being but had grown by itself after a warm summer rain, then there is a good chance that it is Philipp van Endert...". Since his return from the USA, Philipp van Endert has established himself as a unique and unmistakable voice in the current jazz scene. Together with the Tatort Jazz house band Matthias Dymke, p, Alex Morsey, b and Uwe Kellerhoff, dr, they play a mixture of P.v.E.'s own works and small tributes to Miles Davis.
