On her fifth album "Adagio", which will be released on April 4, 2025, Σtella (pronounced Stella) sings in her native Greek for the first time. The inspiration for this album came in 2019 on an 11-hour boat trip to the island of Anafi. It began with a simple melody, which first developed into an instrumental piece and later into the song "Omorfo Mou". The title, an expression of Greek affection ("my beautiful one"), stands for longing and love.

"Adagio" is a pop album that is characterized by a slower tempo and feels like a warm blanket; it envelops its listeners with nylon-stringed guitars, feather-light percussion and psychedelic keyboards. The songs are combined with international influences ranging from tropicalia to disco. Despite the success that has made the artist one of Greece's best-known singers, the album reflects Σtella's desire to slow down.

In addition to "Omorfo Mou", the album contains a cover version of the 1969 cult classic "Ta Vimata" and international collaborations, such as with Rafael Cohen. Tracks such as "Adagio" and "80 Days" combine elegance and emotional depth, while instrumental pieces such as "Corfu" invite you to dream.

From start to finish, Σtella sounds more relaxed and in tune than ever before on "Adagio". Through the combination of calm and intimacy, the album shows how Σtella finds new serenity in her music. For half an hour, Σtella's album adds an extra dose of warmth to the world, making time seem to loosen up - even if it doesn't actually slow down.
