CD/LP/DSPs from Sub Pop. Adagio is a pop record that feels like a warm blanket; it wraps its listeners in nylon string guitars, feather-light percussion, psychedelic keyboards and staccato drums.

Created over a five-year period and recorded with a host of international collaborators - including Rafael Cohen of !!! and British songwriter Gabriel Stebbing - Adagio is a 27-minute meditation on love and desire, rest and time.

Even though the majority is sung in English, as with all her albums, Σtella presents two songs in Greek for the first time: "Omorfo Mou" and a cover of a cult classic of Greek new wave from 1969 - Litsa Sakellarious "Ta Vimata".

The captivating new video for the title track "Adagio" - directed by Debora Maité - can be seen from today.
