On her latest album "Pomegranate", Tess Park's music sounds more ambitious and cinematic than ever before. She picks up on psychedelic elements in a way that sounds decidedly fresh. The dreamlike atmospheres feel strangely nostalgic and modern at the same time. Her lyrics are perceptive, omnipresent and imbued with power, depth and poetic intent, which shine particularly brightly in tracks like "Koalas" and "Charlie Potato". They interweave with their beautifully melodic hooks, sublime choruses and complex, multi-layered harmonic structures, as heard particularly in "Crown Shy" and "Bagpipe Blues". We are very much looking forward to Tess Parks' concert at the Lido!
