Tetra Brass presents the versatility of brass chamber music between tradition and experimentation with works in various instrumentations by Johannes X. Schachtner, who himself trained on the trumpet, traces the - sometimes bizarre - lines of development of brass instruments and negotiates them with special playing techniques in his works. The unexpected transformation of music into extreme contrasts is the subject of Moritz Eggert's 'morphing' for four brass instruments and piano - Eggert interprets his own work on the piano together with Tetra Brass.
