The (_) Gallery zeigt queere Pop-up-Ausstellung zur Hamburger Pride

In the organizer's words:

As part of Hamburg's Pride Season, The (___) Gallery is presenting a queer pop-up exhibition in the M&V Bar from July 25 to August 23, 2025. The gallery will transform the shop windows and interior of the bar into a temporary center for artistic resistance, lived diversity and solidarity - right in the heart of the city.

"For us, art is not a luxury product, but a tool for change." The (___) Gallery stands for a radical, political art practice beyond elitist structures and classic white cubes. The focus is on queer and marginalized perspectives that are all too often overlooked in the art world. The exhibitions question existing power relations, unmask social norms and consistently demand change. It is about more than just visibility: the gallery is actively committed to fair payment, sustainable promotion and the genuine participation of queer artists. Solidarity instead of separation is the principle - non-queer artists and allies are also invited to be part of a joint commitment to a fairer future.

Visitors can look forward to an opening performance on July 25, 2025. Digital Easter eggs and screens in the M&V Bar will also invite visitors to discover and open up artistic perspectives throughout the duration of the exhibition.
