The Billy Joel Songbook returns! Elio Pace will be touring Germany and Switzerland with his excellent tribute show in February and March 2025.

After singer/songwriter and pianist Elio Pace played two acclaimed shows with "The Billy Joel Songbook" in Berlin and Hamburg this February, celebrating a successful German premiere, the gifted musician is now returning for more dates in spring 2025 with his award-winning tribute show paying homage to one of the most iconic musicians, singer-songwriters and composers of the 20th century - a total of six German cities and Zurich are then on his tour schedule.
With "The Billy Joel Songbook", Elio Pace and his great band celebrate the legendary US musician with a unique blend of pop, rhythm and blues, jazz and rock 'n' roll. The audience can look forward to a rousing musical journey with more than 30 fantastic songs by Billy Joel - including hits such as "The Longest Time", "She's Always A Woman", "An Innocent Man", "Uptown Girl", "Tell Her About It", "The River Of Dreams", "We Didn't Start The Fire" and "Piano Man".
Vocally and musically, Elio Pace and his fellow musicians come as close as possible to the original - and with their irrepressible energy and joy of playing, they are so much more than just a tribute band. An evening with Elio Pace and "The Billy Joel Songbook" is a highly dynamic and passionate journey through time and emotions with plenty of goosebump moments and full of infectious joie de vivre that quickly sweeps you off your feet. The show conveys the brilliant music of Billy Joel perfectly and at the same time with the utmost respect - an evening with Elio Pace and his band is an entertaining and touching experience full of emotions and memories that goes straight to the heart as well as to the legs.
But it's not just the visitors to the shows who can rejoice, Elio is also happy to be back on stage in this country: "Billy Joel's music is timeless. He is a brilliant composer and, in my humble opinion, the greatest singer/songwriter of all time. I am truly touched and humbled that so many people in Germany want to see and hear us play his music. I can't wait to go on tour again."
As a singer/songwriter, pianist, producer and arranger, Elio has performed with a host of stars including Brian May, Huey Lewis, Glen Campbell, Gilbert O'Sullivan, Lulu, Mike Rutherford, Don McLean, Tom Chaplin, Debbie Reynolds and Martha Reeves to name but a few.
The late British radio presenter Sir Terry Wogan was also a big fan and described Elio as "simply sensational". In 2010, Elio Pace was the musical director of Wogan's hugely popular "Weekend Wogan" program on BBC Radio 2 and appeared as the main artist on all 35 shows that year. Huey Lewis agrees: "Elio is great... I'm a big fan". And Brian May from Queen sums it up like this: "Elio rocks". They all - as well as audiences all over the world - are thrilled by his soulful voice and his extraordinary piano playing.
In 2013 and 2014, Elio Pace had a very special pleasure: He was invited to follow in Billy Joel's footsteps and perform at five reunion concerts in the USA with Joel's original touring band from 1971-72. Following the huge success of these shows, Elio embarked on the debut tour of "The Billy Joel Songbook", which resulted in sold-out theaters across the UK. In 2019, Elio's sensational concert film "The Billy Joel Songbook Live" was awarded "Best Overall Long Form Music Video" at the "17th Annual Independent Music Awards" in New York City.
