THE DEADNOTES

Music is everything. It is the ups and downs, the euphoria and lethargy. It comforts you, it drowns you, only to pull you up again, kiss you deeply and stay with you forever.

Two people who have deeply internalized this feeling are Darius Lohmüller and Jakob Walheim. The two friends run their band THE DEADNOTES with an unwavering 'all or nothing' mentality.

Driven by pure determination and passion, they have traveled all over Europe together many times, performed over 600 times on the smallest and ever-growing stages, sold more and more records, experienced the best and most gruelling moments of their lives, destroyed themselves physically and mentally, got themselves into debt several times, but never questioned for a day that they were together for the right cause.

In 2025, the duo is one of the most active independent rock acts from Germany in Europe.

With "Rock 'n' Roll Saviour", THE DEADNOTES present their new studio album, which is being released in Germany for the first time via Grand Hotel van Cleef. Produced by Bob Cooper in Leeds, UK, Darius Lohmüller and Jakob Walheim update the audiovisual aesthetics of artists such as Huey Lewis, Tom Petty and the rock'n'roll of the 80s into our modern times.
