To call The Doors Alive just a tribute act is an understatement.

They have mastered the fine art of captivating people and it feels as if you are immersed deep in the 60s. The Doors Alive celebrate concerts like a mass, almost eulogizing the lyrics and music of Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, Robbie Krieger and John Densmore - PURE MAGIC!

The band is authentically dedicated to the sound, look, presence and magic of a real Doors concert from the 1960s and sends the audience into ecstasy with hits such as "Light My Fire", "When The Music's Over" and "Riders On The Storm". A perfect and straightforward journey back in time to the end of every concert with "THE END".

The Doors Alive have played over 1,000 shows to date and were founded in 2005.

Frontman Mike Griffioen easily captures the look, attitude and rich baritone voice of the late great Jim Morrison, while his band mates: Barrington Meyer on guitar, Buzz Allan on drums and Norbert Varga on keyboards represent and replace the musical skills of original Doors members Robby Krieger, John Densmore and Ray Manzarek with finesse and authenticity. Improvisations make each show unique and timeless.

They pride themselves on using the original vintage equipment to achieve an authentic sound, including a Rhodes piano bass, a Gibson G101 organ, the Gibson SG and a Ludwig Mod Orange drum kit.

The Doors Alive have earned an awe-inspiring audience in several countries around the world including the UK, Ireland, Australia and Denmark, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Poland, Slovenia, Malta, Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates and Chile to name but a few. They consistently sell out some of the most established venues in Europe and have played at the legendary Isle of Wight Festival. They have played with legendary musicians such as Status Quo, Canned Heat, Nazareth, Uriah Heep, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Eric Burdon and Kris Kristofferson. In Chile, the band played an arena show in front of 4,500 Doors fans! In several countries, including France and Lebanon, the band was shown on national television.
