Formed in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1980, THE EXPLOITED were formed in response to the all-pervasive "no future" attitude of the time and instead of just being unemployed, these four contemporaries decided to kick ass and if they didn't have a real job, at least they had style! Ex-soldier Wattie Buchan (vocals), Big John Duncan (guitar), Dru Stix (drums) and Gary McCormack (bass) got together and under the banner THE EXPLOITED they were raw and rough from the start and didn't let their music be bastardized for mass consumption
