The Gallery as a Stage – #1_SOUND Arbeiten aus Kunst und Design der BURG
In the organizer's words:
TheBurg Galerie im Volkspark's new Open Call series entitled The Gallery as a Stage aims to draw more attention to the gallery space. A stage thrives on performance and interaction with an audience. 16 positions were selected by a jury for the theme #1_SOUND to show the potential and possibilities of the gallery to function as a stage.
The exhibition is dedicated to the students' diverse exploration of sound - and no longer just as an accompanying medium. In 2025, the focus is on sound, sound and the range of hearing in connection with space. Numerous students are active as musicians, practise field recording or work for the radio. The exhibition is dedicated to these and other activities.
