'The Goings-on'

Change, transition and transformation are the cornerstones of life. In fact, every moment holds the possibility of change, transition and the unfolding of something new. By existing mindfully, we create perspectives from moment to moment, constantly evolving.

"The Goings-on" explores this journey through the experiences of two experienced artists. Their movement is both a reflection and an act of becoming - each gesture embodies the ongoing process of discovery, expression and transformation. This work is not only about what is performed, but also about the lived process behind it: The essence of change and transition is woven into every rehearsal, every encounter with the music and every iteration of the piece. With each performance, this journey is shared anew with the audience.

At the center of this experience is the music of Keith Jarrett, whose improvisational virtuosity lends the work a deeply intimate and nostalgic resonance. His music, like the choreography, moves in the space between structure and spontaneity, between memory and the unknown.
