On their seventh studio album "A Time To Grow", the three McLaughlin sisters Karen, Lorna and Joleen prove once again that they are one of the leading folk ensembles on the Emerald Isle with their heavenly, polyphonic harmony vocals and their fresh, modern approach. The musicians don't think much of old habits: they have a lot of fun crossing genre boundaries. They flirt charmingly with pop, bluegrass and Americana sounds without losing sight of the great Irish folk tradition. Alongside Clannad and the Boswell Sisters, the musicians count the Beach Boys among their great artistic role models!
