The Hirsch Effekt are finally growing up. The trio from Hanover will be eighteen next year - and before they open a new chapter in the band's history, they want to celebrate once again at the Musikzentrum at the end of the year. One day before the third Advent, The Hirsch Effekt want to light the next candle with their fans in advance. As their unscheduled tour in the spring was a celebration of good humor and surpassed everything that had gone before in terms of atmosphere, they assume that with so much reason, all the holes in the cheese in their home club should be flying out of the cheese. The audience can expect a unique setlist with the greatest hits - from the band's childhood to beyond puberty - and perhaps one surprise, but probably no other.

Their latest album "Urian" was released in 2023. Disguised as progressive metal, The Hirsch Effekt are once again twisting habits on their sixth long-player. Musically, the album delves deep into the increasingly intrusive ambivalence of crises and everyday life. "Urian" is the name given to the uninvited guest, whose encounter is usually quite unwelcome. Hard approaches in front of atmospheric collages - sometimes sensitive-acoustic, with sophisticated vocals and groovy passages - until it's time for another rough thrashing. Significantly less conceptual than the 2020 album "Kollaps", it is nevertheless an absolute further development. Lyrical ciphers seem more intimate, references and references are seemingly obvious. Socio-political topics are discussed, in which the musicians critically question themselves and current developments. In addition to bots that nestle into human heads in Insta-comments in a democracy-destroying manner, The Hirsch Effekt give a voice to those who have none or to those for whom all the good things in life are still waiting.
