Pamela Anderson celebrates a brilliant comeback as dancer Shelly in THE LAST SHOWGIRL from director Gia Coppola. The touching drama, which was awarded the Special Jury Prize at the San Sebastián Film Festival 2024, boasts a wealth of (female) star power.

Shelly (Pamela Anderson) has been performing as a dancer in the "Razzle Dazzle Show" in Las Vegas night after night for 30 years. The performances, the costumes and her showgirl surrogate family are her everything. When the end of the show is announced, her world collapses. With her best friend, cocktail waitress Annette (Jamie Lee Curtis), Shelly tries to get through the last few days until the final show with dignity. Suddenly confronted with her past, Shelly makes contact with her daughter Hannah (Billie Lourd), whom she gave away many, many years ago, and tries to salvage the neglected relationship.
