The Life of Chuck

A life-affirming, genre-bending story based on Stephen King's novella about three chapters in the life of an ordinary man named Charles Krantz.

The world is coming to an end: Germany is being swallowed by a volcano, California is sinking into the sea and the internet is dead. In this chaos, accountant Charles "Chuck" Krantz (Tom Hiddleston), of all people, is a constant. He adorns huge billboards and all the TV screens, which only broadcast Chuck's face and a fat thank you for his services. But who is this guy? A mystery that goes way back... to his childhood with his grandmother, who passed on her endless love of dancing to him, and his grandfather, who initiated him into the secrets of bookkeeping and was determined to keep him out of that locked attic. A mystery that raises one question above all: can the fate of one person change the whole world?

Chuck is now saying goodbye to life himself. And his death is just the beginning of this magical story.
