The Littmann Sessions: eine Pop-Gala

On July 5, 2025, pop culture meets opera once again - with five acts from the region and German hip-hop great Apsilon. After last year's huge public success, the visionary pop gala is now entering its second round. What began as a cross-genre experiment has whetted the appetite for more: in 2025, the Stuttgart State Opera, JOiN (Young Opera in the North) and the Stuttgart Region Pop Office will once again open the doors of the venerable Littmann Building for an evening that brings opera and pop together.

The spirit from the previous year will be carried forward in 2025: together with the Stuttgart State Opera, the acts Atomic Lobster, FUTSCH, Horizontal Gene Transfer, Lying to Children and Siri Thiermann are once again developing the concept for an exciting genre crossover highlight. The evening will be rounded off with a performance by Apsilon, who is known for his lyrics with a political message.
