The "Naked Gun" film series is a legendary slapstick comedy trilogy from 1988-1994, which delighted audiences with absurd gags, puns and Leslie Nielsen's iconic dead-pan delivery as the chaotic Lt. Frank Drebin. In the continuation of the popular parody series, Liam Neeson ("Taken", "The Grey") now takes on the role of the son of the original character as incompetent police officer Frank Drebin Jr. With Drebin again saving the world in spite of - or thanks to - his particular set of skills, be prepared for a deliciously dumb and consistently funny time at the movies. The reboot echoes the irreverent, slapstick comedy of the original, and its biggest surprise is easily Neeson's comedic performance which is an impressive shift from his usual hard-hitting, ruthless protagonist roles.
