After more than a decade, Rona returns to her home on the remote Orkney Islands. As she rediscovers the unique landscape in which she grew up, her childhood memories intermingle with the last time she was addicted. Her departure to the city at that time and the subsequent dissolute years in
London ended in a painful crash. But little by little, the encounter with the harsh nature of the islands becomes an opportunity for a new life...
