My inner child has questions and my pineapple needs care. And why is everything beige? The fairy said I have one wish and I wish I knew what I wanted. And anyway, if I really wanted a child, shouldn't I just feel it?
In the object theater performance "The Pineapple Commitment", Sarah Wissner and Jonas Arndt approach the question of the desire to have a child in an absurd mind game of dreams and fear fantasies. Honestly and humorously, they teeter between personal overload and social questions, digging into clichés and putting their finger on the wound of a time in which commitment no longer seems to be a matter of course.
"Child, yes or no?"
Sarah Wissner and Jonas Arndt ask themselves what speaks for and what speaks against children in our world. Their object theater performance proves to be a thought-provoking and playful carousel of ideas.
