For many women, the desire to have a child is something they take for granted. But what happens when this wish becomes impossible due to legal regulations and other restrictions? In her piece, Polish choreographer and dancer Renata Piotrowska-Auffret addresses this question and takes a look at the relationship between professional and private life. She uses her own experiences as well as those of other women as inspiration for this dance performance. In "The pure gold is seeping out of me", she examines the web of reproductive strategies, multiple promises and the attempt to exploit the desire to procreate.
