The Q - Anahit Vardanyan

Born and educated in the Armenian capital Yerevan, pianist Anahit Vardanyan incorporates the traditional music of her country into her unique productions, blending influences from techno, electronic and ethnic sounds from around the world. Thanks to her formal education and diverse influences, Anahit now releases on the German labels Jannowitz Records and Alaula, as well as on Hydrozoa in Los Angeles, making a unique contribution to the development of global electronic music culture.

The Q is a party series by queer people for queer people and their allies. Our goal is to provide a space for all queer people to express themselves freely. That's why it's important that you are aware of how much space you take up at the party and how you treat each other. Our party is a place where the boundaries of our fellow human beings are treated with respect. Consequently, we do not tolerate any transgression of boundaries or any form of discrimination, be it sexist, queer, racist or otherwise.

A trained awareness team will be available throughout the evening. The team can be recognized by the pink sashes. Assaults cannot generally be prevented, but the awareness person can provide support in specific cases and act as a point of contact. The focus is always on the needs and wishes of the person concerned. On request, visitors can use the quiet room together with a member of the awareness team, and discriminatory behavior has consequences such as being banned from the premises or reported to the police.
