the reload club @ gans am wasser | indie-pop live

In the organizer's words:

Sunday afternoon in Munich's Westpark, chilling on the riverbank - with live music from the indie band the reload club in the "Gans am Wasser" café - Free admission.

indie pop in a different way

the re/oad club surprise not only with their line-up: whether three or five musicians - guitar, sax, cajon, bass, drums - the band's songs alternate between "indie pop" and "singer-songwriter". Sometimes it sounds round and sometimes dirty, sometimes dynamic or unplugged.

Subculture in their luggage

The kick-off of the re/oad club took place as part of the European Capital of Culture 2015 celebrations - live and unplugged on the train from Regensburg to Pilsen. This was followed by EP releases and numerous concerts and events in Munich, including a charity concert at the Hard Rock Café and a double concert with "Leonie sings!" at cafebar mona (Monacensia), as well as gigs at Bahnwärter/Minna Thiel, Märchenbazaar, Glockenbachwerkstatt and together with author Thomas Klupp in Weiden / "Die Sünde" (reading and music).

Romantic and dirty

In 2024, the band took part in the Long Night of Music, followed by the single "Lighter Than Falling Leaves", which was voted into the A rotation by M94.5: Curvy bossa bass lines with a catchy sax-guitar earworm. And finally "The Journey / El viaje" - this time with a Spanish refrain, romantic piano runs and dirty pig organ.
