The fourth Out of The Box festival took place this January under the title "The Resonance of Time". Based in the Werksviertel-Mitte, this time the festival also staged performances in culturally and historically significant locations throughout Bavaria. Four commissioned compositions as world premieres, a German premiere, three ensembles, a dance company and exciting international soloists and artists. The Aurora Project film production team, directed and produced by Horacio Alcalá, documented the journey from the first workshops to the phenomenal premiere and the last day of the festival, bringing the moving music of The Resonance of Time to life once again. The film was directed by Martina Taubenberger, artistic director of the festival. "The Resonance of Time" is a journey towards identity, memory and diversity. With the film premiere, we are once again creating a meeting place for discussion and exchange in order to address the questions: What does cultural heritage mean? What do we remember? What makes us unique? in an artistic way. Above all, the documentation answers the question of how artists meet in this project and find their own personal expression in this core theme. Magnificent images of the different venues guide us through the compositions and the meaning of The Resonance of Time.
