The Rude Reminders live

It's all set: We are really looking forward to you and a great, varied Wednesday series 2025 - a multi-faceted program with great bands on 22 dates every Wednesday from 30 April to 24 September 2025.

This time with us: The Rude Reminders.

What started early 2012 in the heart of the 'Ruhrpott' as an acoustic duo of Leo & Ricky covering favorite Wailers tunes, has slowly but solidly grown to an eleven-headed full force organic roots reggae band with lots of completely original material. Soon the German reggae community knew about 'The Rude Reminders' and we knew that we need to give the people an album. Ever since 2015 when we found the ultimate constellation of musicians we are constantly working on this album. To catch the vibes without compression & loss turned out to be a very big task, taking many years to finally get it done.

"We are 100% honest. We are 100% love. We don't play constructed shows nor do we animate people to do certain things. We rarely even ask if people are feeling Irey. We simply present what we love about reggae music while we usually lose any kind of boundaries. Whoever catches us live on stage or in our rehearsal room or anywhere, will surely perceive true emotion, from anger up to joy. Once we start bouncing even the people who claim to dislike reggae catch on. It is all strictly love."

Free admission to all events in the Wednesday series. The hat goes around for the artists and everyone gives what he or she wants.
