In their musical work, the band The Secluded follow a principle that has become rare in the contemporary pop landscape: the constant search for the new - for unheard moods, unexplored sound spaces, for music that surprises without indulging in experimentation for its own sake. But for all their desire for discovery, the band remains true to one central claim: they want to remain audible.

Each piece is a departure, an expedition into the unknown - with the aim of deciphering hidden emotions and creating moods that elude the familiar. The aim is to appeal to both the emotions and the intellect.

This music is aimed at those who are not satisfied with casual consumption, but are prepared to embark on a sonic journey on which the boundaries between dream and reality dissolve.

For the production of their latest long-player, The Secluded consciously opted for organic, authentic soundscapes - a decision that was consistently implemented under the direction of renowned producer Kurt Ebelhäuser (Blackmail, Donots, Van Holzen, Guano Apes). A particular highlight of the album is the song Trust, for which none other than Olaf Opal (The Notwist, Polarkreis 18, Juli) was at the controls - a name that has stood for an idiosyncratic, finely nuanced sound aesthetic for years.

With this album, The Secluded prove once again that music can not only be heard, but also experienced - as emotional terrain to be explored.
