The Space Between - Queer Art Hub

In the organizer's words:

In the midst of a time in which queer visibility is once again coming under increasing pressure, we are creating a protected space with "The Space Between" - a safe space for queer art, identity and expression.

Bunker K101 in Cologne-Ehrenfeld, a place with history, becomes a stage for what is often overlooked, repressed or lived between the lines. In the massive walls of the former shelter, 18 queer artists unfold their works - bold, intimate, loud and quiet at the same time. The bunker thus becomes not only an architectural but also a symbolic space for protection, visibility and cohesion.

"The Space Between" stands for the in-between: Between social norms and lived identity. Between vulnerability and resistance. Between protection and freedom. It is a place that not only shows art, but also invites you to pause, feel and connect.

We invite you to enter this special space with us - and to celebrate the in-between together.
