"The Surfanauts" + "Red Hot 54"

Ulli wants to buy a Gretsch 6120 Lefthand and is therefore selling some things on Ebay classifieds, including an Aria Matsumoku bass.

Ulli: ...Sell Aria Bass (Matsumoku) with case....
Lisa: "I'd be interested, is there anything you can do about the price?"...
Ulli: "Sure"
Lisa: "OK, I'll take it!" ...
Ulli: "What do you want to do with it?" ....
Lisa: "Yeah, like rock'n'roll or psychobilly" ...
Ulli: "I'm a guitarist in a rock'n'roll trash band and we're still looking for a bass."

That was the first contact between Lisa and Ulli in April 2019.
At the time, Ulli's semi-existent band (still with vocals) was a disaster, the practice room was a battlefield and the concept resembled the idea of a one-liner.
Nevertheless, this disaster of hopelessly paralyzed stereotypes simply continued for another year.
Ulli was so pissed off that he wanted to quit completely. The singer had somehow vanished into thin air anyway and Lisa had the choice between quitting before she had really started or making a suggestion to keep Ulli in the music. Ulli had already talked about surfing a few times, but had relegated its realization to a galaxy far, far away. Then she said:

"We're doing surf now!!!"

The SurfAnauts were born.

The local support today is RED HOT 54 from Bremen. For more than 15 years, REDHOT 54 have been performing on the live stages of this country to present the best of Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent, Elvis, the Stray Cats and Johnny Kid and the Pirates to music-loving rock'n rollers.
Numerous songs from their own creative pen complete the program, which invites you to sing and dance along. Olaf (guitar/vocals) Daniel (doghouse bass) and Uli (drums/back vocals) love the rock'n roll/rockabilly of the good old days.
And rock'n roll loves them.
And the three musicians show this to their audience again and again. They have already performed live on stage with Alvin Stardust, Mad Sin and the Hot Wheels. In 2011, they rocked the Schlachthof Bremen in front of 800 people at Rockabilly Earthquake 2011.
So, go and see them live.
