Two stories about two couples: a woman, a man and a telephone whose ringing prevents any deeper conversation. A pair of lovers, members of opposing camps, who meet on the battlefield and are fatally wounded without being recognized. What can that be: love? And what happens when there is a gulf on both sides of the tightrope walk between mutual love and individual freedom? The young director Kilian Bohnensack bridges the gap between the archaic and the modern with a combination of two musical theater compositions.
