The Grammy-nominated forefathers of alternative cabaret are making a stopover at the LWL Museum of Kundt and Culture with a career-spanning concert after a long break in Münster. Dark and deviant theatrics are to be expected when they fuse the macabre magic of pre-war Weimar Berlin with the biting marginality of punk. This unique Brechtian street opera trio has been touring the world for over 30 years with concerts and plays such as The Tiger Lillies Christmas Carol, The Ancient Mariner and the West End hit Shockheaded Peter. With wry humor and sharp irony, the TIGER LILLIES point an implicitly reproachful finger back at us: what the hell are we doing, why are we laughing at stuff like this? Memories of Bertolt Brecht and Jacques Brel come to mind.
Admission: VVK 25 € plus fees / B.O. 30 €
