With her feature film debut, Norwegian director and screenwriter Emilie Blichfeldt presents a furious variation on the classic Cinderella story, which, under the guise of tongue-in-cheek body horror, deals with timelessly relevant questions about one's own body image and the perception of beauty.

Elvira (Lea Myren) has had enough of living in the shadow of her beautiful stepsister Agnes (Thea Sofie Loch Næss). She will use any means to attract the attention of Prince Julian (Isac Calmroth), the most sought-after bachelor in the entire kingdom. At the cost of blood, sweat and tears, Elvira will stop at nothing to win the prince over.
