12-year-old Malte loves numbers more than anything and is practicing hard for the Math Olympics, which he is determined to win. Then suddenly his half-sister Josefine moves in with him. She is loud, loves poetry and regularly skips school. As if that wasn't enough stress, Lale shows up at Malte's math club. Not only is she really good at math, she's also beautiful as an eight. Malte's orderly life is thrown into turmoil.
